Project Description:
The Broadalbin school district, like many others in the Northeast, chose to renovate its existing facilities instead of building new facilities. While working with an architect, we designed the project in two phases and provided complete services including schematic and final designs, construction documentation, budget projections and contract observation. Additional services included balancing cut and fill quantities, grading and drainage design, planting design, layout design and technical specifications. Phase one included the football field, not shown, with structures for track and field events. Phase two, shown below, encompassed a building addition by the architect, new parking and bus turn-a-round, ball fields, tot lots, tennis and basketball courts, an emergency and maintenance access drive, and an expanded septic system by an engineer.
EDC Principal Thomas Elmore was Project Manager for this project while with another firm.
